Founding Story: Share a story about a key experience or spark that helps the network understand why this project got started or a story about how you became inspired about the potential for this project to succeed.

It began with our Idea of making childs Day present for every Child assisting our community Kindergarten. The idea is that as a present give every Child a Fruit Tree to plant together with their parents and teachers, at Our NGO Kinder. Be began dreaming about having some fruit at hand and also learning how to take care of the trees together. That made us think about why not also having 1/2 Ha. Orchard and use some more veggies to cook lunch for them. Veggies and fruit for lunch at Kinder school.

Year Founded

Project Stage

  • Growth (the pilot has already launched and is starting to expand)

Example: Walk the network through a specific example of what happens when a person or group engages with your solution.

We are now working with some Adolescent parents to help them get around with their own growth and together with their family alimentation, taking care of a newborn family and children is no easy task. Poor work and few chances make a very scarse opportunity to feed a new and demanding family. We live at the countryside with lots of land but no economic capacity to buy trees and seeds for growing our own veggies and having some fruit. Although we have enough space for them and time to take care. If the community engages in giving some seeds and fruit trees we could consider in a couple of years encreasing alimentation quality for many families in our Community. We would also need some assesment for watering and technical support.

Impact: What was the impact of your work last year? Please also describe the projected future impact for the coming years.

We have a Community Kindergarten where 80 children spend the day at diverse activities and also have their lunch. Increasing vegetable price have made food less nutritious and no fruit is possible most days. Also many more children assist our NGO for assistance every year for Argentina is increasing prices and with a 50% year inflation leaves our of equal economical and resource distribution more people each year. We attend 80 families at the Kindergarten and around 80 Adolescent in art workshops and local development for the rural local community.

Financial Sustainability Plan: What is your solution’s plan to ensure financial sustainability?

we have also a bakery where 20 adolescent learn the job and produce bread for their community. Also have a Kindergarten for Community children for free and some mothers work as caretakers. Health is cared by a Pediatrician Doctor Once a week. We also are taking care of Adults in alfabetization processes so as to help them finish their school graduation

Unique Value Proposition: How else is this problem being addressed? Are there other organizations working in the same field, and how does your project differ from these other approaches?

Today we manage to give children food because we are working together with food bank that provide us most grocery needs, but no vegetable nor fruit. Our main focus is an Education issue. Learn by doing We also belong to a South Net that take care of Children Rights related matters, also dialoging with related Childs Rights, and Social development Public offices and ministeries. Municipality articulation though Kinder netting

Reflect on the Field and its Future: Stepping outside of your project, what do you see as the most important or promising shifts that can advance children’s wellbeing?

Taking care and looking after a Plant, some trees we enhance and trasmit good care values to our Kinder Children. Adults, taking care for the most Fragile including plants and vegetable and animal specimens. We can eat better if we can look after some trees, Special care for different living specimens. Social and emotional learning both for educators and Child. Incorporating different care values though utility for the future. Sense of responsability for all and Co responsability care.

I think you have a wonderful idea that is engaging to children and the levers in the child's ecosystem! I also feel that you are combating negative approaches surrounding our environment. Taking care of mother nature is a powerful conversation right now. I feel like you should consider bringing a stronger presence to this idea on your application. It has a two birds, one stone feel. Our children are our future, we need to provide the correct levers to continue a healthy ecosystem. I highly recommend you go back to your application and do an intense grammar check.  I noticed many errors, this could strongly effect your stance in this complication. There are tons of great ideas like yours, and many with powerful applications. Strive to be one of those! In regards to the endeavor of a powerful application, you have many gaps. Consider looking back through and filling in some thought processes. Here are a couple ideas:

The problem being addressed: Add a few words on why its a problem. You do not need to go into detail but you should give background so the problem is explained. Some people might not agree its a huge problem. Paint a picture, sometimes the problem can be the most powerful. It gives merit to what you are doing.

Impact: numbers help, but lead up to those statistics. Give a small story to it ( 1 or 2 sentences). Make the numbers have quantitative and qualitative meaning. They stick better.

Wonderful idea that covers many areas of concerns! Best of luck in building the powerful application, they will get you farther than you would think.
