Problem: What problem is this initiative trying to address?

From statistics carried out by at least 5 expert volunteers spending at least 1week in the area, the main problem faced is poor road network.
There is also poor sources of drinking water that poses a health problem. Inadequate health care services, poorly trained teachers and lack of electricity are also some of the problems. Farmers still borrow chemicals which is at high interest rate and some farmers groups do not function properly.

Solution Summary: What is the proposed solution? What do you see as its most promising aspects for creating shared value?

Most importantly, the roads has to be made accessible for buyers and vendors and to bring development. New farmers groups has to be created and old ones made efficient and reliable. The inhabitants especially farmers has to be educated on business management.
Since "health is wealth" bore holes should be dug in villages where there are no good sources of drinking water. The health centers has to be well equipped to ensure quality health care services.

Impact: What is the impact of the work to date? Specify both the social and the environmental impact of your work

So far better opportunities have been made available for the farmers to sell their cocoa at a higher price. this would help to raise their income in providing for their basic necessities.
A village has been provided with clean water. This was done by cleaning and modifying their water system right from the water catchment.

Financial sustainability plan: How is this initiative financially supported? How will you ensure its financial sustainability long-term?

Indiidual donations or gifts - 20%
Grants - 50%
Man power - 30%

Unique value proposition: What makes your initiative innovative? How does your project differ from other organizations working in the same field?

An opportunity to fulfill our promise: to come back. and change their situation.

Founding story: Share a story about the "Aha!" moment that sparked the beginning of this initiative.

Federation of Environmental Ecological Diversity for Agricultural Revampment and Human Right (FEEDAR &HR) was created in 1996 when the prices of farm implements increased and the price of cocoa instead dropped. FEEDAR & HR was created to form a synergy between farmers so as to find solutions to these problems.
