Location(s) of impact

I have a working prototype, 2 of the earlier ones worked under severe temperature conditions of extreme cold - Siachen and extreme heat -Rajasthan.

Problem: What problem is this initiative trying to address?

Saving life in hospital ICU's and Operating theaters, due to vast deaths due to power out situations, using rugged emergency power possible in extreme temperatures.

Solution Summary: What is the proposed solution? What do you see as its most promising aspects for creating shared value?

A power generator which could save lives in hospitals, be airlifted to areas of natural calamities, can work under severe weather conditions. A couple of these on each verandah/balcony of an ICU/hospital floor could effectively help hospitals / maternity homes minimize untimely deaths.

Impact: What is the impact of the work to date? Specify both the social and the environmental impact of your work

Our petrol powered generator was tested at Siachen, the highest inhabited area of the world, with success and also at Rajasthan desert areas with +50C temp, working 12 hours continuously. We have data of hospitals - even high profile ones which have had multiple deaths due to failure of power to ICUs and Operating theathers, neo-natal units. Ours is a quite a low cost, easily portable generator, which can be airlifted, carried over stairs by 2-4 persons. This gives instant power for saving life at same time charging storage batteries. Still work is in progress to improve the efficiency - for which am looking for a hand of support from our Ashokha Changemakers

Financial sustainability plan: How is this initiative financially supported? How will you ensure its financial sustainability long-term?

So far I have invested my owns savings on developing this generator with space tech cooling methods.

I look to your kind advise to take it forward in more technical refinement, for which a Grant and higher technical assistance could be required.

Unique value proposition: What makes your initiative innovative? How does your project differ from other organizations working in the same field?

I have not compared, but know that such a generator is unique - to work under extreme conditions.
