Founding story: Share a story about the "Aha!" moment that sparked the beginning of this initiative.

Bonne suite.

Hello Lila!
Thank you very much for your intervention. We are very keen on this project because it has high added value and will contribute to the economic and social development of Gabonese populations living in the hinterland as they consume cassava.

Indeed, cassava is the staple food in Gabon and Central Africa, but it appears that its current manufacturing process is not only long, but difficult and perilous. A cassava processing plant will enable rural people to have:
1- A return on investment of their cassava fields quite fast, slowing down the long wait resulting from the current process of recovering the cassava tuber, soaking, then comes the fermentation process then the sale with the aim of having a income to not only contribute to the needs of households but also to plan daily life,
2- Increase dramatically the production of cassava as it is the staple food in Gabon and Central Africa,
3- Improve the living conditions of small producers,
4- Valorization of the cassava value chain: transition from artisanal cassava processing to industrial processing to cover the cassava needs of the rural populations, but also in the near future, those of large urban centers,
5- Reduction of the cassava value chain which was usually rudimentary, archaic and less profitable for the rural populations,
6- Job creation and increase of the purchasing power of households,
7- Contribution to food self-sufficiency inasmuch as cassava is a popular food in Gabon and Central Africa,
8- Valorization of cassava derivatives including flour, foufou, starch, ethanol, cattle feed, gari, atsék, natural fertilizer made from dried skins,
9- Access to the local, sub regional cassava market see international.

In sum, it brings hope for the improvement of the living conditions of the populations of the interior of the country.
