Problem: What problem is this initiative trying to address?

65 million people displaced. 17000 committed to be hosted in Spain but 10% arrived. Only 2% reach economic independence. Migrants boost economies and I want to be part of the solution.

Solution Summary: What is the proposed solution? What do you see as its most promising aspects for creating shared value?

CHAPTER#2 facilitates the integration of refugees providing emotional support and activities towards economic independence. On one hand we have opened the physical space near Barcelona for entrepreneurship mentoring and inclusive leisure activities and, on the other, we have created the webpage for connecting refugees with jobs and flats

Impact: What is the impact of the work to date? Specify both the social and the environmental impact of your work

Pilot test with 10 participants at entrepreneurship program. Coordinating a series of 7 hackathons in Spain for solving 7 challenges identified.

Financial sustainability plan: How is this initiative financially supported? How will you ensure its financial sustainability long-term?

In 2017, 80% private funding, 10% corporate contributions, 10% grants. In 2018 50% private funding, 20% corporate contributions, 20% grants, 10% earned income.

Unique value proposition: What makes your initiative innovative? How does your project differ from other organizations working in the same field?

CHAPTER#2 is fulfilling the gap between first aid NGOs and businesses

Founding story: Share a story about the "Aha!" moment that sparked the beginning of this initiative.

5 years working at the Spanish oil and gas company, Repsol, coordinating biodiversity management and stakeholder engagement. I volunteered at refugee camps for two weeks and because of my little arabic, I would have access to more people. Afterwards I went to Nepal and when I was back I decided to quit my job and found CHAPTER#2.

We currently have an acceleration program for refugees and training on rural areas. Does this help on understanding what are we doing? :) for better understanding or Skype at any time!
