Agro eco analysis is an interesting intervention to introduce the basics in agriculture to Youth and encourage them to climb up by questions, exchanges with farmers and move forward in experimentation for economic viability in farming and for valuable career ensuring sustainable earnings. Many such options are in store because agriculture is a vast horizon for poison free food production, pollution free life and poverty free society. Healthy life with good nutrition is gift of agriculture.
Problem: What problem is this initiative trying to address?
21% of agriculture lands sold past 3 years for non agri purposes because agriculture is not viable. But, we have proved 1 : 2.19 return on investment. Elders complain that Youth are not coming into agriculture. We have to create options for Youth to join agriculture not for valuable career and also for viable results for economic gains and also for ecological and environmental enhancements for well being of humans and other life forms.
Solution Summary: What is the proposed solution? What do you see as its most promising aspects for creating shared value?
Agriculture has to continue not only for economic gains but also for poison free food for healthy nutrition and pollution free life. Family members involve in farming with dedication. Hiring workers often ends up with less dedication. Youth in family are the best followers for progressive agriculture by innovation and achievement. Youth need interesting options. VOICE Trust organized TOTs from 1999 to 2004 for 105 Groups in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. A forum for Agriculture was started in 2005. There are 65 units. Each unit has found models to continue Agriculture. Migration of Youth to towns and cities for jobs are often with hazards. Definitely, Youth can join agriculture not only for jobs but also for valuable contributions to individual families and for integrated rural development. Basic training can be continued by 65 units. But, finance is needed for start up schemes by Youth.

True, some Youth shine by getting good earning employments. But, many Youth struggle and accept any job even under hazardous conditions for survival. Agriculture can offer valuable careers for Youth in seed banking, inputs preparation, technical interventions, technological innovations, value addition and profitable marketing. Group of Youth can select such activities according to their interest and charge for their involvements, thus, achieving earnings required for their personal and family life. VOICE Trust has begun to encourage 6 Youth per village in 222 villages in a pilot project in Tiruchirappalli District. Training are being given in different segments of Agriculture. Village people are ready to accept these Youth and entrust to them activities in their farms. Service charges are decided for every activity. 12000 INR is projected per Youth monthly benefiting farmers and Youth.

Founding story: Share a story about the "Aha!" moment that sparked the beginning of this initiative.
A boy told about hotel job getting up 4 a.m, doing routine works 18 hours a day. Hard life for small pay. A girl working in garment company on contract for three years weeps about killing herself standing the whole day for meager income and maximum ailments. VOICE Trust informed them that they can be kings and queens in agriculture in their own villages by learning techniques and innovating technologies for helping their own villages. Good returns for farmers. Better earnings for Youth. Best future for ecological biodiversity, environmental enhancements, economic developments for integrated empowerment for all. A definite beginning has to be made with 100 Youth yearly per unit. 65 units in Tamil Nadu and Puchucherry will open up innovation
