Problem: What problem is this initiative trying to address?

Small farmers daily life become more and more hard because of the climate changes which affect directly the variation and increase the prices of fodder (animals feed) in first order. Which oblige them to force their children to work in order to get more money or find animals feed. Also farmers with small peace of land and no revenue are in majority leaving their land to find another life in the nearest city or look for another job in big farms with very low incomes just in order to survive.

Solution Summary: What is the proposed solution? What do you see as its most promising aspects for creating shared value?

We produce and commercialize green, fresh and nutritive low cost fodder (animals feed) for small farmers with a very personalized offer and marketing approach.
We offer to our costumers, before sale, a case study to frame his livestock need and also to discover the issues and opportunities that he and his family have and after that we prepare the appropriate amount of fodder that we used to deliver daily before we succeeded to pack and stock for a week based on the feedbacks of our costumers whom prefer a weekly deliver.
Also depending on the issues and opportunities he has we propose a coaching to help the family well use the ressources and teach them the best practices on agriculture that they can use to increase their incomes and develop their daily life work and also their families daily life.
For example the farmers whom have a small land they don't use or use to produce animals feed we suggest and accompanied them to cultivate vegetables to have a new incomes and save time.

Impact: What is the impact of the work to date? Specify both the social and the environmental impact of your work

To date we have a unit of production with a capacity of 300 kg per day and that we are developing to have a 800 kg per day by end of November 2017 and we have 10 regular clients + our sheep and cow that we are feeding and also some occasionally clients and we have succeeded to pass from a fresh product that can not be conserved to a fresh product that we can stock and conserve for a week which can help our costumers to have a weekly deliver.
1 of our clients benefited from our accompagnement and transformed his a hectare of land to produce some vegetables that serve his family need and also a new source of income because he sales the extra of his production or exchange some with other type of vegetables wth other farmers.
Also 2 young girls returned to school after that their parents start buying our fodder.
This year also we are working to create a network of farmers using our fodder to help them sale their sheep throw our brand as natural fodder and within our network in the city

Financial sustainability plan: How is this initiative financially supported? How will you ensure its financial sustainability long-term?

w started developing our business within the competitions and programs that we had won last years (we succeeded to collect more than 20 000 USD as grants) and we continue on that field because we have lots of support to well build the business on the beginning.
And we also get money from the sales of our product and in order to increase incomes and diversify our sources of revenue and then increase our impact we developed new offers like consulting on agriculture and the selling sheep that we buy and feed in our farms.
And we will launch on December 2017 a new way to sale sheep for All Moroccan celebrations for townsman and an awareness caravan for farmers to help them know our new products with its benefits and also to teach them how to well use their ressources ans diversify incomes.

Unique value proposition: What makes your initiative innovative? How does your project differ from other organizations working in the same field?

Our initiative depend on humain contact to sale and also develop their offers and then our clients are part on our chain of work. also comparing to other organisation we are not just selling fodder in weekly market but we sale it with weekly deliver to our farmers. And our main and important difference is our price which is fixe all over the year and can be more than 3 times cheaper in the high season.

Founding story: Share a story about the "Aha!" moment that sparked the beginning of this initiative.

My parents after retirement decided to live in a farm far from the city and being there visiting them and looking for social issues that I can solve with my team, we met 2 young girls in pasture looking for feed to their family's livestock, discussing with them we discovered that their parents don't let them go to school. That's why we decided to talk to the fathers and well understand that issue and the majority told us that they can't buy fodder because of its high and not stable price and that pasture are the only solution they have and to be able to work in other farms to get some money to survive their children are obliged to take that responsibility. That situation and that facts and believing that every issue have lots of solution we decided to find one and develop farmers daily life and the future of those children.

Hello Hanane Rifai... Greetings from Oaxaca to the south of Mexico. Very Interesting work and team of young people with different professions, but with a common goal, to solve a specific problem. reaffirmed a project that we leave pending, which seeks to produce vegetable protein from the rhizomes of tropical potatoes with which we work in Mexico (germinated Taros Colocasia Esculenta).
