A community based project conducted in Ogotun Ekiti involving re-branding locally made mat into modern fashionable items to address the challenge of low sales, a menace that resulted from civilization as people do no purchase mat again and go for bed

The project intend to address some of the sustainable development goals namely; zero hunger, no poverty, decent work, climate change and quality health

The project will make use of converting waste (saw dust) alongside other product for the growth of this mushroom. This help in addressing the issue of burning this waste dust thereby releasing smoke into the atmosphere causing ozone layer depletion. Also, it will ensure availability of this mushroom which is seasonal compare to the demand.

Economically: Target audience with low standard of living can now make earning with the production of this mushroom with little start capital and a huge compensating income with the ripple effect being high standard of living
Environmentally: Saw dust which is considered waste before is now channeled to another useful and productive resources.

Being a non-profit organization, the initiative is financially supported through corporate contributions. We seek sponsorship an partnership for all of our projects generally. The sustainability of the project is guaranteed through the working capital as proper business model was introduced to the target audience.

Ekiti people, a part of the country; Nigeria loves the consumption of this produce especially as a special delicacy with their favorite dish (pounded yam). However, little did they know that they can cultivate it without waiting for the raining season. Importantly, during the times they harvest on a wild basis, they can any reasonable amount of money to secure it.
