Problem: What problem is this initiative trying to address?
1-Waste: Aswan occupies the third place in Egypt in palm growing and have 105 thousand tons of annual waste and cause the spread of diseases and epidemics.In addition to fires and the escalation of smoke from the burning process for disposal or contamination of drinking water
2-Poverty and marginalization There are areas an of the poorest and most marginalized places in Egypt.3-Displacement and displacement of the Nuba community displacing 43 villages,14500 families, 48,000 people uprooted and destroyed their culture.

Transforming these waste into environmentally friendly products that highlight Nubian culture and identity in the form of products that express them and help to provide real jobs for the most marginalized groups in Aswan community Our objective is to be a partner in sustainable development in Egypt and to face the local, economic and social challenges such as poverty, unemployment, low standard of living, environmental protection and economic development so Napata started by selecting a team from the most marginalized areas in Aswan. Civil society associations 40 opportunities were provided directly from girls and women after qualifying and training them in handicrafts to raise their abilities and efficiency and teach them a profession to earn income.

Our goal from the beginning was sustainable development in Egypt and face the local economic and social challenges such as poverty, unemployment, environmental protection. Therefore, we started by selecting a team from the most marginalized areas in Aswan, The civil society associations were selected 13 girls to employed by the company. The idea of the company is based on the investment of palm waste, We have many problems in the province and re-use them as environmentally friendly products after being treated as part of our partnership in protecting the environment and taking care of the green industry and then transforming these products into traditional handcrafts that highlight Nubian identity. Heritage and handcrafts as well as being one of the most beautiful aspects of heritage with its creations expressing the lives, lifestyle, and way of thinking of the peoples. Besides, it is a cultural heritage and a field of innovation. Sustainable development that has a societal effect.

Any revenue model begins with the sale of products, which is due to the company to finance new production processes and growth of the company and in the future, we will seek to provide a research, production and training area specialized in environmentally friendly handcrafts to increase income

1 - Modernity: the production of handmade and handicraft products with palm waste is considered the first company to rely on as raw material.

The idea started when the founder of the project was working in a nongovernmental organization which its role was carrying out one of the development projects that was working with palm farmers in Aswan Governorate. At the same time, the founder of the company was deeply involved with the problem, which took place at the same time as the tourism interruption in the governorate, As the main and basic income for 60% of the people of the province and after research and analysis generated the idea of a Napata which its role depends entirely on human creativity and local raw materials
