Problem: What problem is this initiative trying to address?
National food producers are cheapening raw materials by adding synthetic impurities and nutritional supplements to products instead of eco-ingredients. Due to this reasons decreases of business attractiveness of the region, decreases development of farming and rural businesses. The project aims to educate farmers, villagers, owners of farmsteads and combine their activities to the network for higher quality services (SLOW FOOD NETWORK.UA).
Solution Summary: What is the proposed solution? What do you see as its most promising aspects for creating shared value?
First, it is important to bring producers and providers of services the importance of "slow food" for the health of the nation. Teach them to make Slow Food products, provide quality services to healthy eating. To combine farms, green homesteads into the network for development and provision of high-quality services. The project will include three main activities: explain the reason, teach, unite. Innovative is that all training will be based on study visits to the best Ukrainian farms, where the target audience will be practically taught. Farmers, owners of farmsteads and rural entrepreneurs will also learn the best European practices in the field of healthy eating and provide quality services. There are no similar programs or projects in Zaporizhzhya region that teach rural people the basics of production and distribution Slow Food Products.
Impact: What is the impact of the work to date? Specify both the social and the environmental impact of your work
The project aims not only to improve business potential, healthy eating, but also improve the environment, both in the village and in the city. In Zaporizhzhya region this situation is katastrofic. 85% of people do not know how to make products without waste, although it's easy to do. 63% do not know where to find expensive and quality raw materials. And 27% do not understand that Ukraine has a great potential of Farm business. The project is easy to implement and needs funding, because without these actions, farmers, rural businessmen and owners of the farms will continue to pollute the environment and provide poor-quality services for healthy eating and living. The SLOW FOOD network, which will be created through a real cluster in the Zaporizhzhya region, will give an impetus to the sustainability and dissemination of the idea of healthy eating among other regions of Ukraine.

Founding story: Share a story about the "Aha!" moment that sparked the beginning of this initiative.
One day we reviewed the statistics of the greatest morbidity of people in Zaporizhzhya region and the reasons. But we have seen very terrible statistics. Disease statistics: obesity, 2 type of diabetes, hypertension, depression, and others that are caused by unhealthy diet and fast food. We realized that Ukrainians are not able to maintain their health in a proper condition. Therefore, we decided to investigate the causes, the problems and the way out of them. And then we realized why not improve the statistics and save the lives of villagers and cities and their health.
