Problem: What problem is this initiative trying to address?

AREEU Technical Institute (ATI) is a constituent of AREEU Co.Ltd which is an indigenous South Sudanese venture that was formed out of the need for a wide range of trades that are lacking in the country; The AREEU Technical Institute (ATI) is a private based initiative learning institution hence strengthen the socioeconomic development and self-employment.

Solution Summary: What is the proposed solution? What do you see as its most promising aspects for creating shared value?

The project will benefit the entire community of South Sudan in provision of technical skills to the trainees. the project is targeting primary and secondary school dropped out and graduates.This center will also be a center for a talent search for their innovation and creativity.

Impact: What is the impact of the work to date? Specify both the social and the environmental impact of your work

Areeu Technical Institute (ATI) in the field of education aim to offer a similar range of products as those offered by competitors. However, with its proximity to its customer base will be in a position to offer accessibility. The company will invest in the most up to date educational equipment, which will minimize labor costs, drive production yields and minimize unit production cost.

Financial sustainability plan: How is this initiative financially supported? How will you ensure its financial sustainability long-term?

it is an Individual donations or gifts. Year three sales target equals 22.7% of the available South Sudan Market. The business has set a target of realizing a 50% share of the South Sudan Market by the end of the fifth year of operation. This will result in a strong business and market leadership in South Sudan.

Here in South Sudan people are pursuing academic rather than looking for technical skills.

It is the priority of the AREEU Technical Institute (ATI) to foster a healthy relationship to all stakeholders that are interested in developing the country through vocational training, in efforts to promote entrepreneurship in the country. The Centre is thus gearing up to make its contributions in this regard and provide opportunities to the South Sudanese youth.
