Problem: What problem is this initiative trying to address?
The Yayasan INISIATIF has initiatives with local communities to establish Livestock and Agriculture Waste Banks. However, after establishing this financial institution, the issue of availability of funds, lack of personnel, lack of facilities, lack of market and lack of professional human resource quality capability make the Bank "Mbah Tenan" run on the spot. So the main problem is how to manage a good Livestock and Agricultural Waste Bank ?
Solution Summary: What is the proposed solution? What do you see as its most promising aspects for creating shared value?
The incentive for productive activities of Bank "Mbah Tenan" will provide motivation and opportunity to develop business activities from Bank "Mbah Tenan". The presence of management training, administrative and financial governance training, production training, marketing training and other capacity building training will provide an opportunity to standardize the Bank's business activities of Bank "Mbah Tenan". The bank "Mbah Tenan" will also provide soft loans for the procurement of dairy cows for farmers so that it can provide opportunities for farmers who do not have livestock in order to benefit from the results of milk, meat and livestock fertilizer. The provision of transportation facilities and production equipment for organic fertilizer processing and complete office administration equipment will facilitate the operation of Bank "Mbah Tenan".
Impact: What is the impact of the work to date? Specify both the social and the environmental impact of your work
Social Impact: Wonomerto Village and Jarak Village is the most southern village in Jombang. Most residents are farmers and farm workers. The youths in these two villages mostly chose to go out of the village to work, only a small percentage lived in the village and it was limited to small farmers and cattle ranchers. Bank "Mbah Tenan" tries to be present to meet the need for employment and also the development of their farm and cattle farms. Further expectations are that people have higher bargaining power even as farmers and ranchers. In the village economy, the existence of the bank "Mbah Tenan" will also be able to can trigger economic growth in the village.
Environmental impacts: agricultural and livestock wastes that have been ignore it, can later be managed into more products that have more value into organic fertilizer. Derivative products such as organic vegetables, organic rice and organic fruits become better value-added products and have better food safety levels as well.
Financial sustainability plan: How is this initiative financially supported? How will you ensure its financial sustainability long-term?

2. Grants : we will submit proposals to grant agencies and local government programs.
3. Corporate contributions : we will submit proposal to companies through their Corporate Social Responsibility funds.
4. earned income : partly of the profit from the bank "Mbah Tenan" is used as retained earnings.
Unique value proposition: What makes your initiative innovative? How does your project differ from other organizations working in the same field?
initiatives to save in banks with livestock and agricultural waste deposits and provide organic fertilizer production facilities and organic food products.
Founding story: Share a story about the "Aha!" moment that sparked the beginning of this initiative.
The farmers in Jombang often throw away their livestock manure and their agricultural waste. While they need fertilizer for crops they often have to buy fertilizer and when they need livestock feed often have to buy the feed. Even the irony is often they are difficult to buy fertilizer because of the rare stock of fertilizers. The urine of livestock is also allowed to be discarded without being accommodated for processing again so that the added value is almost non-existent. We have made garbage bank training training for urban and rural communities. For the city community, garbage bank can still be done but for the village community this becomes difficult because of the lack of waste that can be processed. Therefore, with the existence of the problem came the idea of making waste banks waste farming and agriculture in rural areas.
