Nearly one billion people worldwide suffer from chronic food insecurity because of climate change, so we want to give women and rural families the right to land and improve family farming, contributing to economic growth in the State of Sergipe in implementing wells (irrigation pumps) and tanks for drinking water supply for human consumption and irrigation of land, improving agriculture, psicultura and cattle, goats, pigs and horses, contributing

"WATER, SOURCE OF LIFE. is a social project that will be supporting small farmers and fishermen, women and rural households, aiming at strengthening the agriculture, fisheries and livestock, giving them a healthy, growing and distributing food produced poor families and saving our natural, resources improving food security, reducing environmental impacts and providing welfare for low-income communities, improving and multiplying agricultural production in the city of Frei Paulo / Sergipe / Brazil. It is possible to grow, preserve, produce healthy food, care for the soil and reduce pollutants in rural areas supporting sustainable agriculture, reducing hunger and poverty and improve the sustainability of rural livelihoods means. But for this we need financial resources to give continuity to our social and humanitarian project to support low-income families in the state of Sergipe / Brazil.
Impact: What is the impact of the work to date? Specify both the social and the environmental impact of your work
In one year, we intend to change the lives of women and poor farming families, improving family agriculture and benefiting more than 1.000 women and about 80 families from low-income farmers in small communities of the city of Frei Paulo in the state Sergipe / Brazil, the implementation of wells and construction of water reservoirs in every village and small farms of farmers in our region.
Financial sustainability plan: How is this initiative financially supported? How will you ensure its financial sustainability long-term?
A cooperative will be founded with the participants, where all will donate 20% of the profit, which will be invested in the acquisition of equipment to help farmers from other cities in the implementation of said project.

The "WATER, SOURCE OF LIFE." project will be developed in the poor farming communities of the City of Frei Paulo / Sergipe / Brazil, in regions where climatic effects are more evident and requires urgent measures to change this reality. For this, we are contributing to sustainable development, improving the quality of life of farmers' families and reducing the effects of climate change in Brazil. Northeast Brazil is the region most vulnerable to climate change because it is geographically disadvantaged because it is the poorest and hotest region, most burdened by the effects of the climate, reducing the harvest with the result of the drought, leaving hundreds and thousands of people incapable of Produce and buy your own food.
