1. Founding story: Share a story about the "Aha!" moment that led the founder(s) to get started or the story of how you saw the potential for this to succeed

Platinum Group Metals(PGM) such as Platinum, Rhodium, Palladium are noble resources together with diamond and others. Identifying PGM products to recycle was a fantastic achievement to help in economic, social and environmental sustainability.

2. The problem: What problem surrounding employability or financial capability are you helping to solve?

We maintain the objective of making the Sustainable Development Goals 1,2,3 and 9 achieved in our area of operations. Our focus are SDG goal 1 thus elimination of Poverty ,Goal 2 which is elimination of extreme hunger , goal 3(Good education) and 9 Industry, innovation and infrastructure to become a reality in Africa This has being awesome as we won an award as best SDG goal 9 advocator by Extramile.

3. Your Solution: How are you planning to solve this problem? Share your specific approach.

Andygram presents opportunities to improve secondary source of attaining precious minerals of Platinum Group Metals (PGM) such as Platinum, Rhodium, Uranium etc through recycling. We register businesses that are of high potentials of discarding precious waste from the cherished PGM made products. Our focus seeks to attain Sustainable Development Goals by purchasing PGM waste from the gatherers to help them be financially stable and afford basic necessities to achieve SDG goal 2 as the United Nations implies. We engage in digitization of these businesses and individuals that contribute to the first stage of every recycling business which is "gathering of the waste".We also and give out an identity card to help keep in touch with all customers. Besides the digital technology, we also embark on door to door service to gather Platinum Group Metal wastes from customers and pay them awesomely for their the waste PGMs After the digitization and gathering stage, we use crushing and grinding machines to make it finer in outlook. Testing machines are used to test for the content of Platinum, Rhodium and Palladium in it. It is then sold to various manufacturers for reuse.

4. How are you innovating or using unique approaches to solving the problem?

Andygram have a coding system for Catalytic convertors of vehicles to enable trading between the PGM waste Catalyst owners and our agents have fair deal. Also, innovation of "G5 Andygram catalog" which consist of about 5000+ images of Catalytic Convertors and their respective weight in kilograms are innovations that are in-the-making and helping to make education on Catalytic Convertors. Andygram agents provides daily education to potentials bearers of wastes from Platinum Group Metals to promote sustainability of Platinum recycling. We plan to use GPS address to establish locations of customers to help facilitate the door to door

5. Employability: how is your organization or project teaching people to develop the skills that they need to survive in the future job market?

Globally, Platinum recycling is listed as one of the most lucrative business in the world. Catalytic Convertors constitutes about 60 percent of the use of Platinum Group Metals. Andygram advocates for intensiveness in teaching the populace on the content of concentration of the PGM raw materials that were used in the products through a catalog in other to help gatherers desist from making loses in future transactions. This year, we plan to have an annual conference and award summit to appreciate and acknowledge people that have contributed massively to the PGM recycling in other to encourage others to sustain the market

5a. Please describe which future-oriented skills your organization is focused on fostering and how you have measured / plan to measure progress

We hope to embark on using GPS mapping for all areas that are of the high potentials of discarding PGM wastes in other to parachute into those areas and save the wastes for recycling and reuse. By this we hope to achieve trans-country expansion.

7. Marketplace: Who else is addressing the same problem? How does the proposed project differ from these approaches?

Blanco Recycling Group, ecotrade group are firms that buys the waste catalytic convertors for recycling. However, they do not embark on door to door gathering and registration of customers. They sometimes purchase from us who are doing door to door and engaging the public through education.

8. Impact: How has your project made a difference so far?

Currently, we buy 1kilo of waste catalyst in catalytic convertors for a price range of $120 to $150 for patrol cars catalytic convertors and also $80 to 150 dollars price range for diesel condemned catalytic convertors from the automobile fitting shops for recycling. In terms of finance to those who sell their waste catalyst, they are in the making. Also, it helps protect the environment from health hazards and over extraction of Platinum Group Metals from the primary source.

9. Financial Sustainability Plan. Can you tell us about you plan to fund your project and how that plan will be sustainable in the short, medium, and long term?

The project is run on profitable bases. Recycling them has its own natural sustainability, it is a noble resources. However, in terms of expansion of the recycling program, we hope to appeal to investors and entrepreneur Support Agencies to come to our aid in other to sustain our operations wherever we establish this initiative. Also the Profit-upon-profit initiative helps in reinvestment of some percentage of the profit to sustain the process.

10. Team

Andygram is a full-time run team. Currently, the positions are; General Manager( Anderson Samuel ), Digital technician (Farouk Ashanti) door-to-door manager ( Edem Edmond Tamakloe), Grinding and Crushering operator( Mershark Anderson ) The team seeks to first dominate the education of Platinum recycling in Africa through high campaign and making branches for effective Platinum group metal waste recycling. We seek to have trucks for door-to-door services.
