1. Founding story: Share a story about the "Aha!" moment that led the founder(s) to get started or the story of how you saw the potential for this to succeed

During 2015 and 2016 we (the co-founder team) had the opportunity to spend 4 months in Kenya and Brazil studying Social Innovation. When we went back to Argentina we realized that the skills, mindset and frameworks we had gained were a significant value-added for us and that our way of thinking about work and purpose had changed. We wanted to bring this opportunity to people we knew were in the same search path but didn´t have the opportunity to do what we did. We wanted to bring together individuals that want to change how things work and make them better with tools and the right network to achieve that - as entrepreneurs or intrapreneurs- and provide a space to rethink what work means to us and what impact we want to achieve.

2. The problem: What problem surrounding employability or financial capability are you helping to solve?

People nowadays, need to find new was of approaching problems or finding solutions to new challenges. University, many times doesn´t provide the tools the job positions require. On the other hand, workers have changed too, they are not satisfied by getting a paycheck at the end of the month, they are aware they hace a purpose and their happiness depends on the alingment between it (each one´s purpose) and their every day activity and contribution

3. Your Solution: How are you planning to solve this problem? Share your specific approach.

At ALT programs we promote the changemaking skills and we develop talent (entrepreneurs or intrapreneurs) who have a growth mindset, people who see problems as challenges, thanks to our curricula of social innovation and selfknowledge.

4. How are you innovating or using unique approaches to solving the problem?

Part of our unique program is the self -knowledge part which is deep and carefully guided. People value a lot that they are given the space, the time and the environment to look inside, meet and accept parts of yourself that make yu who you are and have the posibilty of becoming tools and not a burden. Also working with real proyects and the challenges the entrepeneurs are facing, gives a commitement to apply evething you are learning that shows it´s possible to work in a different and innovative way.

5. Employability: how is your organization or project teaching people to develop the skills that they need to survive in the future job market?

ALT uses a practical and theoretical approach to help people developing skills not only to survive in the future job market but to be able to thrive and transform it. As a part of our practical approach, we partner with social entrepreneurs that are part of the programme and work together with participants to solve real challenges they have in their organizations together with them.An important part of the learning path we propose has to do with self knowledge and understanding our own strengths and points of improvement. Through mediation, reflection and practical activities we understand the value of resilience, collaboration and effective communication. From a theoretical perspective we present and discuss new trends of different sectors -public & private- as well as the new dilemmas that arouse with new technologies, the consequences of climate change, inequalities, among others.

5a. Please describe which future-oriented skills your organization is focused on fostering and how you have measured / plan to measure progress

*Open Mind *Empathy/Compassion *Diversity *Innovation *Technology oriented We will ask the people how they feel about each one and in which specifc moments do the apply them and who else they know reflects them. they will evaluate themselves and think which ones they would like to work on and develop. At the end of the seminar they can re evaluate themselves and commit with on or two.

7. Marketplace: Who else is addressing the same problem? How does the proposed project differ from these approaches?

Instituto Baikal, Welukan, Mayma, Ekos. We have associated with Njambre and Amani Institue that work in a national and international areas. The immersion weekend as the climax of the inner journey part of the semminar and working hands on with real challenges that real organizations have are the main differences.

8. Impact: How has your project made a difference so far?

60 peolple asisted to ALT’s first pilot in 2017 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and it was a one-day free workshop about social innovation and networking skills. 28 people paid and assisted to the second pilot happened the next year, it was a 4-days programme focused on social innovation skills. we were able to give scholarships to 2 other people. 25 people assisted and paid for ALT in 2019 as a 2-months programme, in partnership with Njambre - a leading local organization focused in social impact- and Amani Institute, and international institution, building talent for the social innovation sector based in Sao Paulo, Nairobi and Bangalore. People have told us they have better skills fr their current jobs and that have dicovered new skills they need for new job positions where they can contribuit and have a larger impact.

9. Financial Sustainability Plan. Can you tell us about you plan to fund your project and how that plan will be sustainable in the short, medium, and long term?

By 2020 we estimate to train 100 participants in 3 cities in Argentina: two cohorts in Buenos Aires, where the market is already tested. The others in Cordoba and Mendoza where Njambre has been working and people are asking for the program. Also, we aim to test the uruguayan and chilean market with a one week approach of the program to launch the program in 2021. Although each participant is expected to pay for the program, we understand that 100% of the participants we want to train at ALT do not access the full price of the program. That is why: 50 of the 100 participants will access 50% scholarships 25 of the 100 participants will access 75% scholarships 25 of the 100 participants will access 100% scholarships
