1. Founding story: Share a story about the "Aha!" moment that led the founder(s) to get started or the story of how you saw the potential for this project to succeed.

After I came across a friend who had 2 ill cats, and needed to use fluid therapy in order to help them. I came to the resolution that the current solutions are simply not good enough for most pet-owners. I saw the process with my own eyes and was horrified by it. Taking an exposed needle and sticking it to your pets body seems like an impossible mission and a very freighting one. Doing so on a daily basis, on your own, at home? I was shocked. At that same day, we started working on a better solution.

2. The problem: What problem are you helping to solve?

To treat a variety of conditions, pet owners are required to deliver fluids and other drugs to their pets SQ (under the skin) at home. The process involves the use of a standard fluid-giving set and an exposed needle. As simple as this procedure might be for a professional vet, pet owners are struggling to perform it at home. Difficulties: 1. Needle phobia, The procedure requires two caretakers, Needlestick injuries, risk of injury to the pet.

3. Your solution: How are you planning to solve this problem? Share your specific approach.

EZXS is an innovative device for home use, simplifying the process of fluid therapy (and other drugs) in cats and dogs. The device provides maximum safety for pets, with minimum stress for owners and caretakers. Some of the key features of the device are: 1. The needle is hidden throughout the whole procedure. 2. It requires only one caretaker. 3. It has a safety mechanism to prevent injuries (to both the pet and the owner). 4. It improves restraint in cats and dogs. We have already tested several prototypes on live cats and dogs and have ensured the functionality and feasibility of the product. EZXS is compatible with fluid lines as well as with any standard syringe. Technology / Proprietary Rights - The revolutionary device’s technology is backed by a submitted Provisional Utility Patent Application (USPTO) for its mechanism, feature, and design, as well as for the method.

4. Innovation: How are you innovating or using unique approaches to solve the problem?

As Koglo is introducing a revolutionary solution for simplifying SQ delivery, this is a unique low- to zero-competition field. Solutions that are currently available for administrating fluids and drugs under the skin at home are: 1. Visiting the pet clinic. This solution is almost impossible for pets that require daily treatment. 2. Using an exposed needle for manual motion. While cheaper than EZXS, this is a problematic solution that is not relevant for many users. EZXS provides the safest solution at an affordable price. Minimal skills are required, so it is stress-free for both the pet and the owner. *Please watch the attached video for the device's demonstration*

5. How does your project harness the pet-human bond to help people develop important social competencies (For example: emotional intelligence, collaboration, empathy, resilience, inclusivity) and overcome serious societal issues (for example: violence, abuse, trauma, isolation, abandonment)?

We developed EZXS for Saving Pets Lives &Improving Pet Owners Lifestyles. We're changing the world for over 10 million daily users around the world. By making this life-saving treatment (fluid therapy), accessible and affordable.

6. Impact: how has your project made a difference so far in terms of both business outputs and social impact? How do you plan on measuring progress?

We have already tested several prototypes on live cats and dogs and have ensured the functionality and feasibility of the product. EZXS is compatible with fluid lines as well as with any standard syringe. Koglo has already established connections with several manufacturers for the first production phase. These potential production partners are certified to produce medical-grade devices and are committed to the target production price. EZXS will be sold for $70-$100 for a 30-day kit (targeting CKD patients) and $15 for a four-use kit (for all other conditions). Both kits include a reusable component and a disposable component (needle cartridge). This enables a seamless introduction to new users while generating profits for several years.

7. Growth strategies: what are your main strategies for scaling your impact?

Our commercialization strategy is based on working closely with a strategic partner or with partners to commercialize EZXS globally or regionally. EZXS will be introduced and sold to the end-users (pet owners), by veterinarians in clinics, hospitals, and pet-pharma stores. Koglo will work closely with large distributors to educate vets and thereby ensure positive feedback and satisfaction. We already have several veterinarians involved in the development, and they support and believe in our product. The distribution cycle: Koglo -> Distributor -> Veterinarians -> Pet Owners.

8. Creating shared value: How does your initiative create value for different stakeholders?

For the first time ever, fluid therapy will be accessible and affordable. This includes: 1.Fluid therapy for chronic kidney diseases. 2. Dehydration- One of the most common conditions that require hospitalization. After the initial emergency treatment at the vet office, EZXS users can be released and complete the re-hydration process at home. 3. Injectable drugs and vaccines- For pets that are unable to get to the vet clinic, EZXS enables them to get the required treatment at home, from their owners (based on the vet’s recommendations).

9. Financial sustainability plan: can you tell us about your plan to fund your project and how that plan will be sustainable in the short, medium, and long term?

EZXS Will be sold to distributors for $25-$30 per 30-days kit, reflecting profitability of 80%-100%. The price for the end-user (pet owner) will be 70$-100$. Yearly-revenue projection based on: 1% market penetration = $18 million 2.5% market penetration = $45 million 5% market penetration = $90 million 10% market penetration = $180 million After a successful initial development stage and POC, we strive to introduce EZXS to the market. The funds will be used for: Alpha prototype production. Feasibility test. Product improvements based on the feasibility tests conclusions. Pre-launch marketing and business development. Design for manufacture. Manufacturing and distribtion. Increase marketing and sales.

This will allow us to accelerate our go-to-market efforts and be available on the market in 18 months. We'll use the funds for: Alpha prototype production. Feasibility test. Testing the prototype on live cats. feasibility tests conclusions application. Improving and finalizing EZXS. Pre-launch marketing and business development. Finding the right distributors and business collaborations. Design for manufacture. Manufacture and Distribution. Increase marketing efforts and sales.
