Why is the problem that your organization is solving important to you and your co-founders/team?
The problem that Citysense is solving has to do with the quality of life of all people around the world. With CS platform, the Smart Cities market is being opened to the community, which comes to solve these problems: Safety, Health, Mobility, among others.
Being part of Citysense is collaboratively helping the well-being of people, including ourselves.
Please provide 1-2 examples of your product/organization making an impact on a city.
In the presentation attached are specific examples.
Fast forward 15-20 years. What does your organization look like? What is the impact that it's had on society?
Technologies that transformed society have given tools and power to communities, creating an exponential growth of knowledge and new technologies. Personal computing and Internet are some examples. In 20 Years, Citysense Urban Satellites will be as common as street lights are today. They will be the channel used by communities to solve and share solutions that define quality of life in cities.
What differentiates your organization? What makes it so that you can drive a bigger and better benefit to society than other organizations in this space?
Citysense is thinking in openness. In democratizing tools and giving them to those who want to take action. To install millions of open urban satellites in cities around the world requires boldness backed up by high end technology. We don’t need to wait for governments or tech giants. We are creating and scaling the channel for the society as a whole to act as one big transforming force.
What is the key barrier today to your organization unlocking the maximum amount of impact on society?
Citysense needs critical mass of installed satellites in order to achieve its goal. To build a platform has unique challenges. To scale we need funding. To get funded, we need results: traction, sales. To get traction we need a critical mass of cities covered by our network of urban satellites. We must create the market that global partners could help us achieve.
