1. Personal Journey: What’s the story behind why you decided to start this project? NOTE: All applications must include a 1 minute video that answers: “I am stepping up to make change because..."
I'm passionate about the project to create the generation of cycle well because one year ago I received my credentials to be a licensed Financial professional. As a licensed Financial professional I was able to assist people with College Planning, retirement, living benefits, etc. This meant a lot to me because I always always advocate for entrepreneurship saving and investing. I sat down with my aunt she was 47 years old she had $0 in retirement $0 in life insurance $0 college for her children $0 in college for her grandchildren and yet she didn't want to. That day I realized my mission was beyond me my heart was broken I wanted to cry but I didn't I just accepted the fact that God placed the mission on my heart. My mission was to educate and touch as many families as I possibly could. Help them break the helpless mindset and assisting with building the generational cycle of wealth.
2. The Problem: What problem are you helping to solve?
The generational cycle of poverty is still around because there is a simple education gap. We must solve it because it is a deeply rooted problem and it will benefit EVERYONE ! Basic financial principles will assist people of color and in low income communities with making money in positive ways and the mindset shift will assist us with changing our outlook on life from hopelessness to hopefulness. Results will be less crime, poverty, ETC.
3. Your Solution: How are you planning to solve this problem? Share your specific approach.
My solution to poverty is very ambitious. We will introduce low income communities, people of color and everyone in the world to self love, confidence, positive thinking, positive speech, job interview skills, resume writing skills, entrepreneurship, and basic financial principles. These are all classes we currently host in the community. We believe all of these things together will end poverty. These ideas are currently lacking in our communities. We work tirelessly and mentor both children and adults. Because we have been conditioned to be a certain way it takes time to break old habits but every seed we plant is worth the time. My goals is to expand our training's, classes, resources, and time to touch the masses. We understand that people love trends. We would like to make being positive and financially savvy a trend. It would spread like wild fire and families around the world would have belief in their abilities to uplift their families, improve themselves, and in turn make our world a better place. Our ultimate goal is to spread the word quickly, with passion and excitement and people will catch on.The changemakers program will assist us with the opportunities to achieve thi

April 14,2018 Ariyan Miller:The Millennial Mindsetter spoke for the The JR OWL mentor program (girls between the ages of 5-18).I recited my routine "Mindset Makeover" Speech. in the speech we cover having a plan in life, education, and work. & Ways to make, manage and maximize money. The following week I received reports that our students were starting their own businesses. We had a seven year old student start a lemonade stand, a nine year old student start a lemonade stand, a ten year old student selling bracelets and a ninth grade student started a diaper cake business making diaper cakes for baby showers. In a 20 minute speech,I was able to educate 100 young girls on the importance of entrepreneurship they even took the advice. They now believe in themselves, they have options, they know the starter process of running a business and they are open to a whole new world of opportunities
5. The X Factor: What is different about your project compared to other programs or solutions already out there?
There are no solutions to end poverty because people do not think it can be done. We are different because we believe in our plan to touch families their heart and their mind. There is no other program that does what we do. There is no school that teaches what we teach. We are the X factor. All of our activities are done with pure love and wholeheartedly. We genuinely care about the community and we will do whatever it takes to continue to heal families around the city, state, country and the world. We take the love approach and the energy we give is unforgettable, and undeniable.
6. Impact: How has your project made a difference so far?
An estimated number of people we have touched in the last year would be about 5,000. We understand this is not nearly enough our vision is extremely bigger and our responsibility to the world is not done just yet. We have spoken at San Joaquin Delta College, Nubian Queens Empowered, Jr OWL Mentor Program, Majors Consulting, Ujamaa Education Center, California Tribal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, African American Chamber of Commerce, Weber Institute of Applied Sciences, Fabulous Life International, etc. We realized we were making a difference in the community when we began being recognized for our program. When we went out and children would run up to us give us hugs and say they cannot wait until the next class. When young adults who attended out sessions would be excited about credit, real estate, and financial planning. When people began requesting I PLAN DIFFERENT shirts.
7. What’s Next: What are your ideas for taking your project to the next level?
We will always have the same campaign to motivate the masses to make, manage and maximize money. Our next step will be to partner with more people in more places. We plan to start off by touring the country and spread positive energy, empowerment, and knowledge of basic financial principles.
8. Future Support: What are the resources needed to make your vision a reality?
I have a goal to travel city to city state to state teaching middle class and impoverished families basic financial principles and put hope back into the community. To complete this goal I would simply need funding. Our website is in place, the world is an open space, and we just want the universe to know we are here and ready to assist families with creating the generational cycle of wealth.

10. Ripple Effect: Please share some ideas of how you could partner with other changemakers or involve other young people as leaders in making a difference.
There are thousands of ways we can partner with the community! I have made it my duty in life to assist the world with breaking the generational cycle of poverty and create the generational cycle of wealth. I have sat down with a large amount of family members and encouraged them to set up solid financial plans invest in real estate and use their credit to build assets. I have engaged with my peers by hosting events at many local colleges and teaching the same basic financial principles. We set up shop on campus with our mega phones, flyers, brochures and I Plan Different Tshirts. I have met teachers by hosting Lunch and Learns in the community at local schools. We host classes every Tuesday at a local program called temporary assistance for needy families. We have also partnered with many local community centers to encourage young kids to starts businesses, believe in themselves and have a plan in life. We simply get out in out community, network, and empower the lives of thousands. Although this is the new age and we do new age things like engage in social media we know there is nothing like good belly to belly work in the field. Sharing our knowledge will change the world.
