1. Personal Journey: What’s the story behind why you decided to start this project? NOTE: All applications must include a 1 minute video that answers: “I am stepping up to make change because..."

I am Seeam Shahid Noor and I was born and brought up in Bangladesh. At present, I am privileged to be the only Bangladeshi international student at Harvard College, and this made me realize the importance of equal opportunities being available for everyone.

I work with 10 Minute School because it strives to do just that: reduce differences, break barriers and create opportunities, and finally, help realize a vision which provides free education to 150,000 students every single day.

This video is on an experiment which I find extremely fascinating and enjoyable! By being a part of it, you will be able to experience one of the most fundamental traits of human emotions which can hopefully offer you a new perspective of life.

I made this video for a fellowship application, and the task required me to describe myself in 2 minutes. And till this day, I feel the video served its task

The Augmented Reality Education App provides interactive, visual, quality educational content that can be used to aid learning in any educational system, regardless of the country-specific differences in educational content.

Once the App becomes a reality, partnerships with major E-learning platforms in other countries can allow us to enhance learning and engagement through the usage of our App for students in respective countries as well.

10 Minute School Augmented Reality App is the latest venture of 10 Minute School - the largest e-learning platform in Bangladesh. In the past 3 years, 10 Minute School has provided free educational content to over 10 Million students. This App is the first step of the biggest wide-scale innovation in education in Bangladesh, and our change to have a direct positive impact on 43.7 million lives.
