My desire is to become a researcher that can be part of those researchers who discover new ideas and find solutions to problems confronting society. This propelled me into the field of developmental research. In 2005 I developed a new fertiliser from recycled waste and inorganic fertilisers which is being scale up by the Government of Ghana. In 2010, Ghana lacked an institution that could provide research and training on recycling and re-use of organic waste in agriculture. I solved this problem by establishing a Centre at BNARI, Ghana through sole sourcing of funding.
