Beto’s interest in public policy and community involvement has led him to work at the White House and U.S. Senate. Driven by his passion in technology, urban development and civic engagement, in 2017 he co-founded the first social network for 311 city services: Cityflag. He also won the VotoLatino Innovators Challenge, which led him to receive a MacArthur Foundation Grant. In 2018, he was selected as a Forbes 30 Under 30 Social Entrepreneur. Beto also serves as a contributor for the World Economic Forum and NPR Latino USA. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin – Hook ‘Em!
