In addition to his own experiences growing up in poverty, Michael has worked with thousands of teens in a range of settings over the past 23 years as a social worker and counselor. As a teenager, Michael was fortunate to receive guidance from positive adult role models who helped him to overcome adversities and set high expectations for his future. Grateful for the role these mentors played in his own development, Michael has dedicated his professional life to helping teenagers navigate the difficult adolescent years. He is a 2010 Characters Unite Award recipient for his work with youth.
Ms. Stevenson, I applaud you for your innovation, passion and commitment to this project. I believe that this idea can certainly be replicated and expand. Keep up the great work! I wish you all the best! Even as a fledgling organization, your proposal is well thought out and defined. Best of luck!
Very nice job Debe! Your proposal is well written and the model appears to be rock solid. From another provider of services of at-risk youth, I am so excited to see that you are achieving results which can be difficult with the many factors working against these young people. Keep up the good work and best of luck with the project!
Dear Dr. Dunston, I agree with your statement about education beginning at home and I believe your project has some merit. Unfortunately, your proposal as submitted has not provided the description of your model. I suggest that you elaborate on your project details and provide the reader with a more clear description of your amazing project. Good luck!
