A November day with a snow bliss, I struggled to get to a lecture about "dogs on prescription", a new phenomena in Sweden in 2016. I was curious. The lecture was held by a deacon who told about a course in dog assisted therapy that she attended. Her story was catching and tears were rolling down my cheeks as she spoke about the impact a pet visit can have in peoples lives. I was hooked. I wanted to do the same and so I did! After having finished the course, diploma in hand, I quickly found jobs for my dog and myself. With this company, I am now helping my colleagues to do the same.
