When I started this journey of re-invention, I wasn't sure where I was going to land. That being said, I am so grateful to be on this path, advocating for children in crisis. When I spoke with area non-profits, I learned that the majority of their discretionary funding went to transportation. I learned that they all have a "closet" filled (or not filled) with donated items. Depending on when a child enters their facility determines what items they will receive. Our children deserve more. They deserve better. That's why I started The Bag Project. To provide emergency bags to children in crisis.
