National Nurse-Led Care Consortium
I have a checkered and extraordinary past as a nurse, having worked with people of all ages and at all stages of life. I’ve worked in the health center, I’ve worked in the hospital, and I’ve worked in the hospice. I have been an educator and a public health clinician. Over time, I’ve come to understand that our best opportunity to prevent illness and promote lifelong well-being comes at the very beginning of life. Since 2001, I have directed the evidence-based early childhood home visiting programs at the National Nurse-Led Care Consortium (NNCC), reaching over 3,500 mothers and their babies.
