Thanks for your question Tchibozo. I have seen some few nixtamalized products in very few supermarkets in Nairobi, Kenya. There is a very small company that makes these products i.e. tortilla chips, but its reach is very small. I have yet to see another company or organization in Africa in the countries that I am working in (Eastern and Southern African countries), that has that this particular expertise---able to practice and disseminate nixtamalization technology.

Yes, we have done surveys in Kenya. Specifically, from July to end of August,2016, five questionnaires were used to determine the acceptability of various products created using the nixtamalized maize at the Kenya Agricultural Livestock Research Organization (KALRO) in Njoro, Nakuru county. The data and the subjective rankings collected were used to determine the top four accepted food products---the four products that would subsequently be introduced into the surrounding communities. The three villages in which we carried out the demonstration and testing/study after sensory evaluation to determine the acceptability of the nixtamalized products were Kamungai village in Menengai area, Mimwaita and Ex-Margaret villages in Sumek area.
