Michael believes in using tech for good. As a research intern at UC Irvine, he was lead author of “Mathematical Modeling of Metabolic Heterogeneity in Cancer Cells,” which was accepted for the Pacific Math Alliance Conference. Michael won 2nd place in the 2019 International Space Settlement Competition at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. Michael won the Rotary Community Service Scholarship, the Congressional Award Silver Medal, and the Presidential Service Award. Michael is an Eagle Scout and has served at the Boy Scouts of America’s National Youth Leadership Training course for the past 2 years.
